Unique in their appearance and design, this building’s exemplary interiors and exteriors were designed as a conversion from a manufacturing space to residential units. The new design, which included a vertical enlargement of four stories, makes use of modern materials and a darker color scheme to distinguish between the old and new portions.
The building’s exterior design was a collaboration between Gottesman Architecture and Issac & Stern Architects, and the interior was designed by Leroy Street Studio. The cellar houses utilities, building services, a swimming pool with a spa, and storage. The first floor has a gym, a residential lobby, and two dwelling units. The 2nd-12th floors are occupied by large residential units. The roof over the 12th floor is allocated to building recreation. The building has a total gross area of 106,000 square feet and 35 dwelling units.
