This project was initiated when air rights were purchased from the adjacent Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph/St. Teresa of Avila. The zoning area is a through lot between Pacific and Dean Streets that contains three separate buildings.  The cathedral fronts both Pacific and Dean Streets, an accessory building to the church fronts Dean Street, and the newly proposed building will have a frontage of 177 feet on Pacific Street. The building was designed as a rental space containing affordable units with tax benefits to the developer.

The building is contemporary in its design, with a brick veneer elevation, large windows, and streamlined detailing throughout. Due to its length, the development was designed in segmental form, with projections that vary in brick color, making the multiple levels easily distinguishable. The unassuming design blends smoothly into the neighborhood skyline.

The building consists of a six-story residential structure over a cellar, which is occupied by parking, storage, and building utilities. Most of the first floor is occupied by residential space, though a portion (2,000 square feet) is allocated to medical offices. The second to sixth floors are occupied by residential dwelling units.

The building was constructed with a double-height lobby entrance on Pacific Street and a gross area of 105,000 square feet.
